Huayou Recycling Holds 2026 Mid-Year Work Conference

On August 8, Huayou Recycling held its 2026 Mid-Year Work Conference to review business performance in the first half of the year and outline key priorities for the second half.

The conference implemented the Huayou Group’s mid-year work conference requirements. The meeting reviewed the Group’s progress against its annual objectives, identified key challenges and gaps in advancing its global circular business, and set out priorities for the remainder of 2026.

At the conference, Bao Wei delivered a work report titled “Connecting the Global Value Chain, Advancing Circularity for the Long Term.”

He noted that during the first half of 2026, Huayou Recycling closely aligned its operations with the Group’s strategic priorities and successfully achieved its key business objectives. The Group continued to expand its global footprint, with overseas production capacity now spanning three continents and seven countries and regions, while its global recycling and processing network reaches five continents and 35 countries and regions.

This continued expansion marks further progress in Huayou Recycling’s efforts to build a globally integrated circular ecosystem for the new energy industry.

Bao Wei emphasized that, amid profound transformation across the global new energy industry and an increasingly complex policy environment, Huayou Recycling must remain strategically focused while proactively responding to changing market conditions.

The Group will further segment and deepen its engagement with different customer groups, including strategic key accounts, small and medium-sized enterprises, and consumer/end-user channels. By tailoring solutions to different market needs, Huayou Recycling will continue to innovate its cooperation models and establish a diversified partnership models.

These efforts are aimed at accelerating the development of a global circular ecosystem for the new energy industry.

Huayou Recycling will also accelerate the development of its overseas pretreatment network and deepen closed-loop partnerships with global automakers and battery manufacturers. At the same time, the corporation will continue to strengthen investment in R&D, with a focus on building differentiated and cost-competitive capabilities.

Huayou Recycling also acknowledged the challenges encountered in advancing overseas projects and emphasized the need to proactively respond to increasingly stringent regulatory and policy requirements while remaining firmly committed to its global expansion strategy.

The conference emphasized that the next two years will represent a critical window for Huayou Recycling to establish a stronger position in the global circular industry.

To seize this opportunity, Huayou Recycling will confront challenges head-on, systematically refine its execution pathways and strategic priorities, and take the initiative in shaping its global development.
