Compared with traditional hydrometallurgical processes, Direct Recycling can shorten the overall process flow by approximately 2/3, reduce carbon emissions by more than 50%, achieve up to 30% cost optimization for cathode materials, with the potential to reduce overall battery cell costs by around 10%.
Today, the Direct Recycling materials are already being applied in energy storage systems (ESS) and light electric vehicle scenarios. Following market validation, the performance of some high-end product series has approached the level of virgin materials.
